We are proud to share that the Family Office Guy radio show “It’s Your Money and Your Life” was honored with three first place awards at the 40th annual San Diego Press Club “Excellence in Journalism” awards.

We chose to sponsor this show for its engaging guest interviews and practical business advice.  We feel that Richard and Joe’s approach aligns well with our dedication to providing information and insight that our clients can use to elevate their businesses.

The radio show took first place awards in the following categories:

  • First Place for Radio – Series
  • First Place for Radio – Specialty Reporting – Series
  • First Place for Radio – Specialty Reporting – Single Report

This is a huge honor, as it is the first time a weekend radio show has taken home this many first place awards.

“It’s Your Money and Your Life,” which currently originates from La Jolla’s prestigious La Valencia Hotel and airs on AM 760 KFMB every Saturday night from 7-8pm, launched in October of 2011 and is hosted by Richard Muscio, CPA and Joe Vecchio, who is also announcer and producer. Richard is most commonly known as “the Family Office Guy” and advises families on wealth and business strategies.

Joe likes to compare the show to “Forrest Gump” and says “our show is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you’re gonna get…but every show is an excellent treat.”
