We are pleased to announce that Jon Michael Caffall has been promoted to senior vice president and regional manager of our Vista office.

Jon Michael joined Regents Bank in 2005 as vice president, senior relationship manager and assumed the official title of Regional Manager after stepping into the position on an interim basis after the untimely passing of our esteemed colleague Mike Cavataio in April.

“Jon Michael has demonstrated an ability to gather his team to collaboratively make decisions about running the office and brought order under challenging circumstances,” said Steven D. Sefton, president of Regents Bank. “Furthermore, he has instituted new initiatives both within his office and in other areas of the bank outside his assigned responsibilities. We believe that Jon Michael’s consistent performance over the years, his leadership in team building, and his outstanding work ethic qualify him for this promotion.”

In addition to his role as regional manager, Jon Michael will continue developing and managing commercial loan and depository relationships for small and mid-sized businesses throughout San Diego.

A resident of Vista, Jon Michael is a big supporter within the community. He has arranged for Regents Bank to support the fundraising efforts of the Vista Optimist Club, while also personally supporting the Disabled American Veterans and the American Diabetes Association.

Jon Michael can be reached at 760.542.4215 or jmcaffall@regentsbank.com.  Everyone at Regents Bank congratulates Jon Michael on his well-deserved promotion.
